Bike Routes

Below is the Bike Transportation Plan adopted in 2017. There will be signage posted along each of the designated bike routes. The green lines are off-road pedestrian trails, the blue lines are bike lanes, and the red lines are bike routes.

Trails

Stoughton has two named trail systems running north/south on each side of the City. The Yahara River Trail (dark blue on the map below) is the largest with two sections bordering the river. Future plans will connect the two into a loop. On the west side of the City, the Virgin Lake Trail (red on the map below) connects Jackson St. to Virgin Lake Park. The green lines on the map below are miscellaneous pedestrian trails and the black lines are pedestrian bridges..
