SHELTERS & GAZEBOS
Looking for the perfect spot to host your next graduation party, family reunion, or birthday celebration? Our shelters offer the ideal setting to make your event truly memorable! Mark your calendars—shelter reservations open on January 2nd each year. If January 2nd falls on a weekend, no worries—reservations will open the following Monday. Shelters are available for booking from the second Saturday in April through the second Sunday in October. We’re excited to provide a great space for your next gathering!
BJOIN PARK SHELTER
200 E Wilson St
The shelter at Bjoin Park features 5 picnic tables, one of which is handicap-accessible. Restrooms are available at the shelter. The park also includes a pedestrian trail, a half basketball court, playground equipment, and open green space. If you rent this shelter, you'll need to visit the Department of Public Works building to pick up a key during the week of your reservation.
EASTSIDE PARK SHELTER
225 S Lynn St
The shelter at Eastside Park includes 13 picnic tables, one of which is handicap-accessible. The shelter also features restrooms and a water fountain. Additional amenities include playground equipment with swings and open green space.
NORDIC RIDGE PARK SHELTER
1300 Hoel Ave
The shelter at Nordic Ridge Park offers 14 picnic tables, three of which are handicap-accessible. It includes restrooms, a water fountain with a water bottle filler, and a concession stand. Park amenities at this location include pedestrian trails, playground equipment, a splash pad, a soccer field, biking/walking paths, and open green space. The splash pad opens on Memorial Day weekend and typically closes on Labor Day weekend. It operates daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. If you rent this shelter, you'll need to visit the Department of Public Works building to pick up a key during the week of your reservation.
NORSE PARK SHELTER
630 Kriedeman Dr
The shelter at Norse Park features 7 picnic tables, one of which is handicap-accessible, as well as restrooms and a water fountain with a water bottle filler. Park amenities include 2 tennis/pickleball courts, 1 full basketball court, playground equipment with 5 swings (2 of which are ADA accessible), pedestrian trails, and open green space.
ROTARY PARK GAZEBO
324 6th St
Rotary Park features a gazebo with a cement pad, restrooms, a water fountain with a water bottle filler and a dog water filler, as well as green space.
VIRGIN LAKE PARK SHELTER
1981 Roby Rd
The Virgin Lake shelter includes 5 picnic tables, restrooms, and a water fountain with a water bottle filler. Park amenities feature pedestrian trails, a half basketball court, a soccer field, open green space, a biking/walking trail, and a playground with two swings, one of which is ADA accessible.
WESTVIEW RIDGE GAZEBO
725 Harvest Ln
Westview Ridge Park features a gazebo with 4 picnic tables. The park also includes a half basketball court, a playground with 4 swings, and open green space.
