Celebrate Stoughton's Heritage and Events
Stoughton is proud to host two cornerstone events that celebrate our community’s rich heritage and history. The Syttende Mai Festival, a city-wide celebration of Norwegian culture, has been an annual tradition since 1953, drawing visitors and residents together to honor our roots. Similarly, the Stoughton Junior Fair, established in 1926, provides good, clean family entertainment for all ages and economic backgrounds. With its blend of classic fair attractions, livestock shows, live music, and exhibits showcasing local talents, the Junior Fair continues to bring generations together for family-friendly fun.
In addition to these iconic events, Stoughton offers a variety of annual favorites, including the Taste of Stoughton, Coffee Break Festival, and the Catfish Music Festival. We can’t forget about other popular events like the Viking "BOO"ster Trek, Gobble Wobble, and Wine Walk, which add seasonal charm and variety to our community celebrations.
